I sit and ponder where I've been
and wonder where I'll go
I think of things that made grin
and made my spirit grow
Memories that filled my heart
Ones that made me weep
Memories that I must part
Ones that I will keep
Choices rendered right and wrong
and consequences paid
Choices regretted for so long
Slowly start to fade
I sit and and smile to myself
and know I am okay
I Put the past upon a shelf
and move forward another day
